Raku Spirit Jar

According to legend, the feathers and beads that adorn the neck enhance the protective power bestowed on you from ancestors via a sacred vessel. This pot was hand-thrown then fired in an outdoor kiln, then transferred into a pit filled with dried brush and mesquite shavings to create the radiant raku finish. Handmade beads on ceramic. USA.
