September 24th, 2009 marks the 250th anniversary of Arthur Guinness signing the 9,000-year lease on the St. James's Gate Brewery in Dublin. To celebrate "Arthur's Day", pints of Guinness will be raised to him at exactly 5:59pm (Dublin time), in a worldwide, simultaneous toast.
