Freelance writer Jaine Austen has a new ghostwriting gig, working on a steamy novel called Fifty Shades of Turquoise. The book's author, heiress Daisy Kincaid, has fallen under the spell of a much younger stud named Tommy, and then they shock everyone by announcing their engagement. In this 17th outing (after Death of a Neighborhood Scrooge), Tommy gets stabbed in the neck, and Jaine will have to focus all her creativity into untangling a true story of money and murder.
