He learns how to get around in the city, and even pilots a pond yacht, but when his dear bird friend Margalo disappears from her nest in the Little's apartment, Stuart knows he must find her, and takes to the road in a miniature automobile. For this large and handsome cloth edition, Garth Williams's classic illustrations are superbly watercolored by Rosemary Wells.
