Home District Freestanding Pet Gates are an attractive, effective, and affordable way to confine your pets to specific areas where they are allowed and to keep them away from breakables and danger zones such as stairs, balconies, bathrooms, and kitchens. Home District Pet Freestanding gates are designed with an eye for style and a dedication to the highest quality standards. Wooden gates are finished with rich stains and paints that complement any home decor aesthetic. Pet barriers are available in mahogany brown, white, and grey finishes with either traditional vertical slats, a decorative scroll design, or a modern twist on lattice. The panels fold flat onto each other for space-saving storage and easier transport. Most are available in 2 sizes (see detailed chart).

Our 3-panel and 4-panel folding gates have sturdy hinges and hardware that allow you to quickly and easily expand and collapse the gate to the desired length and configuration. For the most secure and stable gate, make sure the gate is folded enough to be arranged in a zig-zag formation rather than placed straight across your opening. This will reduce the risk of your pet knocking over the gate. We also use non-slip rubber pads on the feet to minimize slipping and sliding on hard floors. Our smaller gates are recommended for small pets while the larger gates are recommended for medium sized pets. Large dogs can knock over any freestanding pet gate.

Helpful Tips:
1. Make sure the gate is large enough to be zig-zagged rather than placed straight across your opening.
2. This gate will NOT stand up to a larger dog who jumps on it or pushes it over. Recommended for small to medium sized dogs.
3. When introducing your pet to this gate, place something heavy on the opposite side of the gate to keep your pet from breaking through or pulling down the gate.
4. Soon your pet will learn that the gate is meant to keep them in that area, and you can remove the support.
