Our namesake bas bleus and their intellectual salons were forerunners to modern-day book clubs, gathering for conversation, debate, fellowship...and snacks! Bas Bleu's readers are spread out all over the United States, making it difficult for us to invite you over for tea and a bookish chat. (Though we'd love to!) That's why, in 2013, we launched our blog, The Bluestocking Salon. Our goal: to share with you some of the bookish miscellany we can't fit into our catalog, including author interviews, gift guides, seasonal celebrations, editors' recommendations, and more.
