When Parisian fashion designer Roland Guipure dies of an overdose outside his own birthday party, self-proclaimed private detectives Rachel Levis and Magda Stevens think it could be murder. And in this third outing (following The Books of the Dead), there are plenty of suspects: the angry assistant designer, the lovelorn PA, the former boyfriend. Then an American tourist who seems to be connected to him in some mysterious way is also found dead, Rachel and Magda rush to find the murderer before another death is cut from the same cloth.
