Much happens in this second and final book about Winnie-the-Pooh, with delightful ink drawings by Ernest Shepard and some of our very favorite tales of the Hundred Acre Wood, for readers 7 and up and younger listeners. Pooh and Piglet build a house for Eeyore, and Tigger comes to the forest. Eeyore later finds a new home for Owl, and Pooh invents the game of Poohsticks—still played today by otherwise serious grownups. At the end, Christopher Robin and Pooh climb a hill overlooking the forest, and we leave them there wistfully wondering about the future.
